Children's center Vuur&Vlam

Relaxation and inspiration
We provide a homely, non-performance-oriented atmosphere, where your child can let off steam after an intensive day at school, or just relax. There is plenty of room for relaxation and inspiration: opportunities to discover interests, develop hobbies, make friends and much more.

Large kitchens and a studio
At Vuur&Vlam we have large kitchens and a special workshop. There your child can discover and develop his or her creativity. Painting, building, dressing up, cooking, but also quietly reading a book: it's all possible!

Adventure outdoor space
We like to play outside with your child a lot. The square offers plenty of challenge where nature and adventure are central. There is also a nice place to play a (ball) game together. In bad weather we use the gym where we can play and move.

Log cabin
During the holidays we go to the Blokhut on the recreation island of Koudenhoorn with the older out-of-school children.

Swimming lesson
If your child is 5 years old or older, they can join the regular swimming lessons at Poelmeer Swimming Pool to obtain swimming diploma A, B, or C. We transport your child to and from the swimming lesson with our SKO bus. A pedagogical professional supervises the children during the swimming lesson.

Transport service
Is your child going to a sports training or hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day? Then we will take care of the transport – free of charge. That saves a lot of hassle. Our own drivers bring and pick up your child with the SKO bus to their football training or swimming lesson. And afterwards back to the children's center. Look here how to sign up.
