We make every effort to place your child at the location of your choice, with the desired start date and days. When making a placement, we take into account criteria such as the date of application and whether a sibling is already attending our childcare. If we are able to offer you a place, you will receive a no-obligation offer by email. The location will then contact you for a tour.

Do you agree? Then you will receive the agreement and the request for direct debit authorization via Ondertekenen.nl. The placement is final upon signing.

Waiting list

At a number of locations, we work with waiting lists. Availability then depends on cancellations and changes, and is influenced by factors such as desired start date, number of days, age, and turnover. On Wednesdays and Fridays, there is usually a better chance of getting a spot.

Planting Trees

At SKO, we believe it is important not only to care for the children of today, but also to contribute to the world in which they grow up. That is why we work together with Trees for All.

For every new child placed with us, we are planting two trees: one in the Netherlands and one abroad. In this way, we contribute together to a better climate, more biodiversity, and a healthy living environment.

In this way, not only the child but also the world around them grows up a little greener.

Initial interview

Before your child starts at our childcare, we invite you for an introductory meeting with the pedagogical professional at the location. During this meeting, you will discuss all the details of the care and make arrangements for the settling-in period.

Cancellation policy

Do you wish to cancel the placement after signing the agreement? Then the following cancellation fees apply:

• Up to 1 month before start of childcare: €50.00
• Within 1 month before start of childcare: 1 month of childcare according to contract
