We want children and parents to feel at home with us. When children can relax and be themselves, there is room to grow and discover. We offer an environment where children can become completely absorbed in play and, in their own way, be and become their true selves. SKO offers group childcare, because growing up together prepares children for their place in the world. Together with other children and our staff, they experience big and small adventures. We want every child to go home full of stories every day!

As an educational partner to parents, school, and care providers, we build a solid foundation locally – together with Oegstgeest associations and the community – for the future of every child.

Our vision

In a constantly changing society, SKO is an important link in the life of a growing child. child and their parent(s) Children grow naturally by playing and experiencing; every child discovers their own self. But a child does not grow up in a vacuum. That is why we consciously seek the connection with the Oegstgeest community: childcare, upbringing, education, and leisure activities as one coherent whole. And all SKO lay the foundation for this. colleagues – driven professionals – who, just like the children, continue to develop, and who provide warmth and genuine attention day in and day out.

Social childcare

We believe that good childcare affordable must be for everyone. That is why we charge the lowest possible rate and reinvest any profit back into the organization; in quality, in sustainability, and in the people who are there every day. We are affiliated with the Sector association Social Childcare and are consciously innovative and entrepreneurial within our industry. Our goal is not to become the largest childcare organization in the region, but the best! That means that we only grow if we can do it right: with a nice place where children can play and where parents and pedagogical professionals feel just as much at home as the children themselves.
