School pick-up and daily routine

Every day has a fixed rhythm. That is pleasant and recognizable for your child.

Short after-school care afternoon rhythm:

The children arrive at varying times due to the different end times of the schools. As soon as a group is inside, we sit down at the table with them for something to eat and drink – because most children are hungry when they come home from school. After this time at the table, there is time for free play or guided play, indoors or outdoors. At the end of the afternoon, we conclude with another time at the table with vegetables, fruit, and water.

Long after-school care afternoon rhythm:

On a long afternoon – Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, depending on the school and group your child is in – we start with lunch. The extra time provides more room for activities such as cooking and baking, a large craft project, or a field trip.

After-school care holiday or non-school day:

On a holiday, there are four mealtimes: around 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM (lunch), 3:00 PM, and at the end of the day. We eat and drink together, have conversations, make plans, or read something aloud. During the holidays, we always work around a theme. On non-school days, we regularly have a smaller group because schools all choose their own non-school days, and we make plans for the day together.

Pick up from school

Does your child attend primary school in Oegstgeest? Then we will pick him or her up after school: on foot, by (cargo) bike, or with the SKO bus. We ensure a smooth transition from school to childcare, so you don't have to worry about it.
