Pedagogical team
The pedagogical team consists of Daniëlle de Wit, Pedagogy Manager, and the pedagogical coaches. The coaches work from our three districts and are assigned to specific locations. In this way, they support the pedagogical professionals in their daily work. They can also conduct an observation upon request when pedagogical professionals are facing a challenge or simply want a fresh perspective from an outsider.
Under the leadership of the pedagogical manager, the pedagogical team forms the pedagogical conscience of SKO; that is a role we as an organization consciously cherish. In response to parents' requests to help raise their children, the coaches safeguard and deepen the professional skills of our pedagogical professionals on the ground.
What does a pedagogical coach do with an application?
The coach will conduct observations and draw up an action plan together with the pedagogical professionals. When an observation takes place regarding an individual child, parents are always involved. In consultation with the parents, the Child Health Clinic or the Youth and Family Centre may be involved in the action plan.
