Quality evaluation
To monitor, as an organization, whether we continue to meet the quality requirements stemming from our vision, policy, and laws and regulations, we utilize evaluation tools. Depending on the theme of the year, we select one or two self-evaluation instruments as part of the annual work plan used by each location. For this purpose, we use scientific or semi-scientific instruments, such as the NCKO quality monitor, the AKTA meter for living environment, the field instrument for observing pedagogical practice, or theme-oriented instruments such as a Baseline measurement of child participation (all from the BKK menu). In addition, we have been actively involved from the start as future makers in the Expertise Centre for Childcare, that makes scientific and practical knowledge accessible to the sector.
We also periodically follow the customer satisfaction via the improvement meter. For years, we have scored well above an 8 there — something we are proud of. We therefore take the results of the improvement meter seriously and use feedback from parents to continuously improve our approach.
