Children's center the Top Teenagers

The Toptieners is especially intended for the oldest children of primary school and the first groups of secondary school. De Toptieners is a follow-up to the 'normal' out-of-school care. The teenagers get all the attention they deserve and at the same time learn to stand on their own two feet.

With us, your child enters a cozy, home-like, non-performance-oriented atmosphere. A number of permanent pedagogical professionals guide your child every day. They ensure a warm welcome, lend a listening ear, and help the children on their way.

Opening hours
The opening hours of Toptieners are the same as those of after-school care. In addition, we take into account the timetables of various secondary schools. And we also take care of your child when school hours are canceled.

Cycling yourself
Most children come to the Top Teenagers independently from school. We make clear agreements about this. Is your child not ready for that yet? With 'accompanied cycling' your child can practice cycling independently.

Activities

Determine the program yourself
At Toptieners, the teenagers largely determine the program themselves. They 'pimp' old furniture, go grocery shopping, hold discussions with peers, or play games like Dungens and Dragons.

8+ Workgroup
The special 8+ Working Group organizes fun and challenging activities in which the teenagers also participate, such as a DJ workshop, ice skating, a trip to the beach or to Naturalis.

Karaoke and computer
We have a game console with various games and a karaoke set for a crazy afternoon. Your child can use a laptop to surf the internet safely, play games, or do homework.

games
We play a lot of games, indoors and outdoors. We play 'Who is the mole'?, 'Living Stratego' and often do the trading game. Inside there is time for a game of chess or backgammon.

Log cabin
During the holidays, we go to the Blokhut on the Koudenhoorn recreational island in Warmond with the children of the Top Teenagers.

To cook
We prepare the most delicious dishes in our large, well-arranged kitchen; soup, cake, wraps, pancakes, smoothies, applesauce and many more goodies. The theme 'the getsie vegetables' also returns regularly and then the tastiest dishes are made from the vegetables that are least liked.

Transport service
Does your child attend sports training or a hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day? Then we provide the transport – free of charge. That saves a lot of hassle. Our own drivers take your child to and from their sports training in the SKO bus, and bring them back to the childcare center afterwards. View here how to sign up.
