I'm Kelly Bunnig! I have been an SKO specialist through and through since 2011 and have been a pedagogical coach in training at the BSO location De Vrije Vogels since September 1, 2023.
What is your fondest childhood memory?
For me it is a bundle of memories from holidays and the holidays. During holidays and holidays we went out with the family! Nice trips or walks in the forest. Search for shells and crabs through the snow with a sled or on the beach. During the holidays, being together with each other was the main focus. Putting up the Christmas tree with Christmas carols in the background, visiting Christmas shows. Get creative with a Christmas craft or drink hot chocolate while watching a Christmas movie. You can imagine which period of the year gives me a warm heart 😉
What is your biggest challenge in parenting?
My biggest challenge in parenting is mainly being able to let go. Not wanting to pave the way for our son, but rather letting him experience it for himself. In addition, the differences in upbringing between my husband and mine also come to the fore. Finding a balance in this in raising our son remains important, but also a challenge from time to time.
What characterizes you as a pedagogical coach in training?
My drive and enthusiasm to contribute to the growth and development of both children and colleagues is something that characterizes me as a pedagogical coach in training. I like to be a supporting force in both the professional and personal development of my colleagues and I attach great importance to creating a positive and stimulating environment in the workplace.
Why do you work at SKO?
I started as an intern at SKO in 2011 and the love for children that SKO promotes has ensured that I still work here. In addition to the love for children, SKO also has a heart and an eye for its colleagues and SKO is a very nice employer. It is clearly palpable that SKO is a social organization that values children, parents, partners and colleagues. An organization that I am proud to work for.
What is your wish for every child?
My wish for every child is that they can grow up safely, healthy, loving and happy. That every child can grow up in a loving environment where they can experience, learn, play and discover their talents every day, in order to become their best possible self and thus gain a strong foundation for a pleasant and beautiful future.
