Children's center Uit&Thuis

Our Uit&Thuis childcare center is a spacious facility. We care for your child in the Guusje toddler group, the Montessori toddler group, one of our six after-school care living rooms, or the Montessori after-school care group. These large, bright spaces surround the central play areas. Older children aged 8 and up have their own space in our annex, De Waaghals.

Schools nearby
Our Uit&Thuis childcare center is located right next to the Public Montessori School in the heart of Oegstgeest. Several other primary schools are also nearby, such as the Hofdijckschool and Jenaplanschool de Kring (Rembrandt location). We pick up your child on foot or with our own SKO buses.

Montessori Toddler Group
From the age of two, your child is welcome at the Montessori Toddler Group. In this toddler group we work according to the educational and educational vision of Maria Montessori. The Montessori vision is playfully integrated into the group. In collaboration with the Montessori school in Oegstgeest your child – at 4 years old – can progress to the Montessori Start class. read more!

Activities

Creative and playful

In the studio, the children's kitchen, the large hall with stage and in the fantasy play area, your child can play and be creative. Painting, dressing up, drama, cooking and table tennis: it's all possible with us. We also regularly use the school gym.

Adventure outdoor space

The outdoor area is a natural, adventurous play area for your child. In a green environment there is room for a game of football, a cycling route, a climbing slope with a water pump platform. There is also a stage with grandstand and a relaxing area with playhouses.

Log cabin

During the holidays, we take the older after-school care children to the Blokhut on the recreational island of Koudenhoorn in Warmond.

Swimming lesson

If your child is 5 years old or older, they can join the regular swimming lessons at Poelmeer Swimming Pool to obtain swimming diploma A, B, or C. We transport your child to and from the swimming lesson with our SKO bus. A pedagogical professional supervises the children during the swimming lesson.

Transport service

Is your child going to a sports training or hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day? Then we will take care of the transport – free of charge. That saves a lot of hassle. Our own drivers bring and pick up your child with the SKO bus to their football training or swimming lesson. And afterwards back to the children's center. Look here how to sign up.
