VE Method Uk&Puk
SKO also offers day care and preschools with a VE program. Preschool Education is a program that gives children a solid start at school — aimed at all children, but especially at children who need extra support with the Dutch language or their development.
At the childcare centers hthe Children's Circus, the DOK and Uit&Thuis we offer the Uk&Puk program, in close collaboration with the Municipality of Oegstgeest and the Youth and Family Centre (CJG).
We are the official provider of Early Childhood Education (ECE) at these locations for children with an ECE indication. That indication is assigned by the CJG, during the regular consultation meetings.
Preparing for school
At all our daycare locations, we work on preparing for school. Take a look at the various locations for more information. At child center Away&Home We also have a toddler playgroup using the Montessori method. Want to know more? Check out Away&Home.
Who is Puk?
Puk is a doll and playmate for the children, and the heart of the Uk&Puk early childhood development program. This program was developed specifically for childcare centers and stimulates children's development through playing and discovering together. Being active and having fun playing — that's what it's all about!
