Children's Center de Kindervlinder

Our beautiful children's center De Kindervlinder is located in the heart of Oegstgeest. And we are proud of that! We offer a cozy and familiar, safe and challenging day care for children from 0 to 4 years. We work closely with our two BSO locations Away&Home and the daredevil. When your child turns 4, it is only a small step to the after-school care. This way we can continue to monitor the ongoing development of your child and we are happy to do that!

groups
At De Kindervlinder, we have eight horizontal groups: three baby groups, three toddler groups, and two preschool groups. Each group has its own permanent staff members.

Early service at 07:00
Sometimes you need extra early childcare. At De Kindervlinder, you can drop off your child as early as 7:00 AM if you have registered them for this.

Healthy hot meal
Specially at our location, we provide a hot meal for all groups at noon. See eat, do eat!

Activities

play corners
Your child can enjoy playing with us in the large arcade. We have several themed corners, including a stage corner, a construction corner and a reading and games corner. For example, on the stage you will find a shop, a bakery or perhaps the parcel room of Sinterklaas. The stage adapts to the children's play. Different costumes stimulate the fantasy world of your child.

To move
In the movement corner, your child can practice climbing, scrambling, throwing balls, and jumping. Together with the pedagogical professional, they try their first steps in front of the mirror with the 'ballet bar'.

studio
We have the art studio for creative activities. Together with the pedagogical professionals, your child can create beautiful works of art to their heart's content here.

Playing outside
We play outside a lot! The large outdoor garden is aimed at discovering and challenging, feeling and experiencing. Lie in the grass, clamber on a tree trunk and slide down the slide. And the water pump; playing with water and sand. We also have a herb garden: what grows and blooms, and what do I smell and taste?
