Children's Center De Buren

Our after-school care facility De Buren is a spacious children's center in Haaswijk. It is located next to the primary schools. Dalton School Oegstgeest and Joris de Witteschool.

Generous spaces
Your child can play to their heart's content, both indoors and outdoors. Our building has four group rooms, each with an average surface area of 42 m2. There is also a large arcade, which all children can use. The living rooms have permanent employees.

The neighbors across
The oldest children are with the neighbors across the street. They have their own space in the Dalton school. They choose for themselves what they want to do: a game of table football, enjoy reading, chilling out, or playing games. There is a wide selection in the games cupboard, but also games in the gym and getting creative in the LAB with carpentry and sawing.

Activities

Creative and playful Painting, building, dressing up, cooking, or baking: it is all possible. We are very proud of our art studio. There, your child can discover and develop his or her creativity. We also regularly make use of the Dalton school's gymnasium.

Playing outside Naturally, we play outside as much as possible. There is plenty to experience and discover in our large green outdoor play area, which features a vegetable garden, a willow tunnel, and a crawl space. Moreover, the beautiful FB Hotzpark is nearby: we go there regularly to enjoy sports and games.

Log cabin During the holidays, we take the older after-school care children to the Blokhut on the recreational island of Koudenhoorn in Warmond.

Swimming lesson If your child is 5 years old or older, they can join the regular swimming lessons at Poelmeer Swimming Pool to obtain swimming diploma A, B, or C. We transport your child to and from the swimming lesson with our SKO bus. A pedagogical professional supervises the children during the swimming lesson.

Transport service Is your child going to a sports training or hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day? Then we will take care of the transport – free of charge. That saves a lot of hassle. Our own drivers bring and pick up your child with the SKO bus to football training or swimming lessons. And afterwards back to the children's center. look at here how to sign up.
