An attractive place for 8+ children
Children's center De Waaghals in the center of Oegstgeest is a wonderful place for older children. It is a challenging out-of-school care with its own 8+ creative workshops Kunst & Kolder, a large kitchen for cooking and baking and a real book cave where children can plop down to read. The large vault of the former bank building is now the ideal place for playing guitar and drums.
Adventurous outdoor play
We like to play outside! The wild greenery provides a green, adventurous playground for the children. Together with the children and a gardener, a plan is also made for gardens at the rear.
Art & Cool
The Kunst & Kolder studio is located at De Waaghals. Here, your child can get to work with materials independently. The children create the most beautiful works of art, either together or individually. Additionally, there are creative workshops every Wednesday afternoon that your child can participate in. Children make cool wristbands from old ties, dreamcatchers, mosaic trays, and pimped-up tennis balls.
Log cabin
During the holidays, we go with the children to the log cabin on the recreational island of Koudenhoorn in Warmond.
Transport service
Is your child going to a sports training or hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day? Then we will take care of the transport – free of charge. That saves a lot of hassle. Our own drivers take and pick up your child with the SKO bus to their training and afterwards back to the childcare center. look at here how to sign up.
