Pedagogical Professional | Short Course

Earn your diploma as a pedagogical professional within 3 to 6 months? That is possible with our accelerated training program for pedagogical professionals. If you already have a background in healthcare, education, or social work at a university, HBO (higher professional education), bachelor's, or master's level, you may be eligible for a tailor-made learning and work trajectory of approximately 3 to 6 months. This will enable you to obtain the additional certification you need to start working as a pedagogical professional in childcare. In addition to the accelerated training program you follow, you will also start working immediately and therefore receive immediate payment.

You can start working immediately at SKO as a pedagogical professional.

What are you going to do?

You immediately start working on the group. Depending on your experience in working with children, the pedagogical coach will draw up a personal training program with you. So it's really custom!

This includes theory (online) and practical assignments that you discuss and implement in practice with the support of a pedagogical coach. The training program is a mix of the following components:

Working supernumerary with the group of 0-12 years;
General induction program and introduction of SKO;
Following an online training module working in day care and/or after-school care;
Explanation of our pedagogical policy and work plan (our own SKO academy: SKOOL);
Knowledge of policy and implementation in the field of health and safety;
You will be guided by a permanent and experienced pedagogical coach!

What are you bringing?

What do we offer you?

You start with a contract of at least 12-20 hours per week;
During your training there is already the possibility to extend your hours, here we look together at the best mix in training, work and leisure;
Your salary is in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement (CAO Kinderopvang) at €2,517 (scale 5, step 8, based on 36 hours). After obtaining your diploma, you will progress to (job scale 6 up to €3,630);
After obtaining your diploma, you are guaranteed a great job at one of our 12 locations;
