Exchange credit for a BSO school afternoon can be used for another BSO school afternoon. Exchange credit for a BSO holiday day can be used for an extra BSO holiday day or for a BSO school afternoon. The credit has been used up. Days on which the school is closed that fall outside the planned twelve school holiday weeks – such as study days – are excluded from the exchange service. You cannot build up exchange credit for this if you cancel. You also cannot use exchange credit on these days. Do you also want childcare on these days? Then choose the Carefree package or request an extra invoiced day.

After cancellation, your exchange credit is valid for 90 days.

Exchange credit for an entire day of care can be used for another whole day of care. The credit has been used up. Exchange credit for half a day of care* can be used for another half day of care (only on Wednesdays and Fridays). * half days apply to current contracts.

It is possible that your child is not present on a fixed childcare day. You can try to exchange this day with another day. It is good to know that exchanging is not a right. We do our best to accommodate day exchanges, but we cannot guarantee that this will work. Exchange requests can be approved if there are enough employees and there is enough space in the group (in such a way that it fits within the laws and regulations). Exchange is still possible in the current time, just less often than you and we would like.

If you cancel, we assume that your child will not come. Do you still want to use the shelter? Please contact the location coordinator to see if that is possible.
You can cancel a requested exchange day or extra day up to three working days in advance. If you cancel later, it will be deducted or charged from your exchange credit.
