Information about the corona allowance schemes for parents without childcare allowance (TTKZO) and parents who make use of municipal schemes.
Request from October 1 to December 1, 2022
Out-of-school care (BSO) was closed in the Netherlands from December 21, 2021 to January 9, 2022. This was a measure against the coronavirus. Did you use the after-school care during the third closing period and paid the invoice in full yourself (without entitlement to childcare allowance or municipal subsidy)? Then you may be entitled to this compensation scheme. You can get the compensation from October 1 to December 1, 2022 apply to the SVB.
Municipal allowance
During the third closing period, did you make use of the out-of-school care through the municipal scheme for social medical indications (SMI) and continued to pay the personal contribution? Then you can go to your municipality for the reimbursement of the personal contribution.
Do you receive a subsidy from the municipality, but not for all hours of childcare? And do you meet the conditions? Then you can apply for a childcare allowance (TTKZO) for the hours for which you do not receive a subsidy.
When can you apply for the reimbursement?
You can apply for the reimbursement from 1 October to 1 December 2022. Keep an eye on the website of the SVB to find out exactly when you can apply and what you need to do.
More information
For more information, visit the websites of the central government and the SVB. Here you will also find more information about the supplementary payment to parents who received too little in the allowances for the first two closing periods (TTKO closing periods 1 and 2).
