As a pedagogical employee you regularly have to deal with a moment of goodbye. And this is not always easy…
Hello you!
You are in the stroller when mom and dad come to meet the group. They tell you how you are, what you like, how you sleep, how you want to be comforted, what your drinking times are and how much you drink.
You look, you laugh, you recognize, you crow, you drink, you sleep, you turn, you lift your head, you sit, you clap, you babble, you pick up toys, you eat your first meal, you observe, you you crawl, you pull yourself up, you stand, your first word, your first tooth, your first step, you clamber, your first conflict, you challenge, you puzzle, you tinker, you run, you are toilet trained, you you undress and dress, you cycle, your first boyfriend, you play, you dance, you sing and you tell. And then………… you are suddenly 4 years old.
I know you are almost 4 years old and I see your goodbyes getting closer and closer. You will take home a nice reference book with a look back on your four years here with us at the group. I must release you from this safe and familiar environment. I am so incredibly grateful to have been a part of your first four years.
That's right, you're about to embark on a new adventure. An adventure with a new challenge in which I wish you a lot of fun.
I give you a hug and a High Five (I want to act a bit tough :-)) and mom and dad also get a hug and with a lump in my throat I wave you goodbye.
Bye you! who has given me so much.
Reading greetings Nel Hesselberth
